Clinical Unit Manager / Senior Nurse

This role will require you to work 3 shifts one week and 4 the next, days and nights are required.

Nursing Home Details:

Smartcall are looking for highly motivated nurses (RGN or RMN or RNLD) to work as a Clinical Unit Manger within a beautiful family friendly care home located in Kingston Upon Hull.

All staff provide the highest level of care, everyone supports one and other and are one big family. Every member of the team is affectionate and understanding all Residents and their individual needs with the biggest hearts.

· Brain injury and stroke rehabilitation

· Mental health

· Neuro-disabilities

About the job:

Your role will be to support the Registered Manager in the day to day activities in the Specialist Care Centre, so this means that you will be involved in:

· Managing the clinical and care teams

· Carrying out pre-admission assessments

· Conducting supervisions and appraisals

· Auditing, reviewing and updating care plans and medication records

· Managing staffing levels, compiling rotas etc.

· Assisting with staff training and development

About you:

You will be a registered nurse ( RGN / RMN / RNLD ) with a valid NMC PIN.

You are well organised, able to make decisions and work on your own initiative whilst working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. You will be up-to-date with current evidence-based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.

Most importantly you are motivated by helping every individual, whether colleague or service user, to realise their full potential and be treated with dignity and respect.

You will receive the training you need as soon as you join. Your first seven days will be spent completing a comprehensive induction and training programme, designed to give you all the information that you’ll need before you start working in the home.
