Position: Ward Manager / Mental Health Nurse

Duties: To provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team

· Training Offering the best training and support a full Preceptorship is offered for Newly Qualified nurses. The company also offer an enhanced support with Return to Practice course. A large portion of training is completed in house and monthly supervision meetings are offered for all members of staff

Based in the Roehampton area this warm and friendly Hospital home provides person centred residential and nursing care to 40 patients with Acute mental health including Eating Disorders and offers PICU & HDU services.
The service are looking for dedicated nurses to join the team on a long term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a service that has a Good CQC which the hospital are extremely proud of
Shift Pattern: The Nursing Home can accommodate part-time or full-time hours and they can be flexible with shifts. They are happy to consider fixed shift patterns and they are happy to consider nurses who prefer working days only or nights only. You will receive a 1 hour break. All nurses receive a paid 15-minute handover following a 12-hour shift.

Are you…

An experienced Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD) The service welcomes applications from Mental Health Nurses and Learning Disability Nurses as full training and support will be given with your own designated mentor
Registered with a valid NMC Pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK.

About the role…

· We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Ward Manager for our Addiction and Acute Private Service on West Wing.

· This role involves the planning and co-ordination of the quality and management of nursing care, patient care and the clinical environment plus responsibility for staffing, rota management and being part of the on-call rota. This role includes participating fully with the multidisciplinary team, undertaking direct patient care where necessary and ensuring the ward complies with statutory regulations, current legislation and meets quality standards.

· The candidate should preferably have experience of working in addictions or supporting patients undergoing medically assisted withdrawal, however training will also be provided within the role to enable development in this area.

· The candidate must have a valid NMC Pin to be considered for this position.
